Unhappy Cougar Dies when cold problem

I have a cougar xr7 93 model i have a problem whenever my car is cold and i take off for work about 5 mins after warming it up i go to a light and stop and whenever i take off it just dies on me... it does that everytime is gets cold again but when it warms up it doesnt die and more what could be some problems?

Sounds like you might have a bad Idle Air Control(IAC) valve. what engine is this?

I have a 5.0L engine is that the valve that connects to the breather? Do you think that might be the problem?

This would be on your throttle body.

i think i might have changed that but i bought the part from autozone and i heard that their electronic parts arent really good so ill check that part out...also i smell antifreeze and my car is starting to overheat but i dont see any leaks in my radiator or any of my hoses but i smell it what could that be?

check the floor on the passengers side and see if it's wet or the smell gets worse over there...maybe a heater core leak?
