Fill Plug
I was trying to change my transmission fluid today and i could not get the fill plug out. I have tried pulling the hell out of it, and using pliers. I cut my hand 4 times trying to get it out. Any ideas PLEASE. This is on a 98 eclipse gs. And i have tried to take it out from the top (the battery area) and the bottom (the wheel weld area).

Re: Fill Plug
mine came out with just my fingers. Be careful with pliers, you do not want to tear the rubber.
Try twisting it, and also to pull at an angle to get the top out first or something. Otherwise you might have to get a new one first then poke the old out with a screwdriver.
