on further analisys of that video using CSI methods its clear that the ls1 was just playing around with the stang...i belive he was actually at idle

That wasn't actully a Camaro, it was a Cavalier with a body kit, and was Ecotec powered. The LT1 would have trascended space and time to simply appear at the finish line. If it's tuned well enough, the rest of the car will accompany it too

Yes he went into the other lane so automatic DQ for that race. I'm sure they just told him he was done for the day and not to come back until he fixes the issue. He wil have to show proof that something has been changed to corect it.
If you realy look at the tape the Camaro driver is having oral preformed on him. Hence the slow start of the line.
