questions from the new guy
i just bought a 99 GC & i have a couple of questions.
1. where in the hell is the switch to turn on the fog lights? 2. what is the "C/T" button on the overhead computer thingy? 3. if there is one, what intake upgrade would give a little more umph when getting on the highway/interstate? (gonna pick up the borla exhaust, but i'd think chilling the air going in will give it even more of a kick.) 4. Why don't they make sure there's an owner's manual in a used car? i know i can get it for $6 but it's gonna make me nuts until it arrives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It took me 20 minutes just to set the clock. |

Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 2000 grand cherokee and I think they are they same body style. To turn the fog lights on look on the turn sign arm. The part that your twist to turn your lights on, pull it out away from the steering collumn. The C/T stands for Compass / Temperature. As for the intake, I have no clue.

Re: questions from the new guy
I too just bought a 99 GC (12/4), I've seen owners manuals on e-bay for around $10 plus shipping. Are the available at the dealers? I can handle the no owners manual on a used car, but only one key? And sorry no keyless entry pods? They found me a couple of other ones but they need to be programed for the car at $45. I think it's just another used car sales gimmick.

thanks
i found the fog light switch, just where you said it would be. it was dark & i was impatient. thanks for the heads up.
i ordered a manual online for $6. The $45 seems to be standard for WJ's. If I remember right, Jeep screwed those of us with anything newer than 96 and only a dealer can do the programming. |
