Well, I was briefly thinking about a 350 in my 1978 caprice 2 door...but for sheer power reasons im now leaning tword a 398 or maybe even a 454. My plans include a supercharger..etc etc... I dont think she'll be done for about 5 years also...but when she is done...we figure her running real low 11's...maybe high 10's. Here's a link that may provide some inspiration to you...I know it did for me...

Its an article featuring a 78 similar to mine. He had a N/A 454 running mid 11's...so yeah When Im done Ill race a vette .
