I would put my money on the Stang.
390hp with a manual tranny is deadly.

Uh, blade, that's a 2001 Mustang... only 320hp, if you believe their advertising.
The T/A has a little more torque off the line, but the Mustang should still beat it to 60mph, and after that, the Mustang has more top end. It's even enough that if the driver of the T/A is good, and the driver of the Mustang isn't, that the T/A could win.

They HP mis rating was a case were the engine's intake had be designed and was dynoed at the HP. Then there was a post-design change which screwed up the intake manifolds alignment which caused airflow issues giving less HP. The fix was a simple intake swap to get the advertised 320.
