Question 2001 Mustang Cobra

Hi guys,
I am looking at buying a 2001 Mustang Cobra here in Australia for about 50k AUD. Car is in mint condition and roars like a lion. With 25k on the clock. Being a Mustang/Cobra enthusiest this will be my first purchase of one. I had a few questions that I was hoping a Mustang expert could answer before I buy the car:
  1. What are these cars worth now in the USA? I believe they initially sold for 17k USD when they came out. Have they appreciated or depreciated in value is what I would like to know.
  2. Is there any reason to think they may/should appreciate in value?
  3. The car has a USA export sticker inside its door which says it was exported by the Ford Motor Company. This struck me as strange but according to the owner Ford USA exported 200 factory manufactured right hand drive Cobras to Australia. Anyone know if this is true or not?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: 2001 Mustang Cobra

1. Check Kelley Blue Book values to find out what a car's worth today: www.kbb.com. It'll ask you for a zip code, so just put in a five-digit number, such as 90210.
