I drive a 98 Mustang gt With X-Pipes and flowmaster tips i have installed a pr0 5.0 shifter...and i was wondering if anybody out there could tell me if my car could beat any 99-03 mustang gt's...well i've raced a 2000 gt before and i had him by a whole car length...but i'm not to sure about any other year models...can nebody help me out? 0 0%

Question 1998 mustang Gt VS. 99 - 03 mustang GT's

I drive a 98 Mustang gt With X-Pipes and flowmaster tips i have installed a pr0 5.0 shifter...and i was wondering if anybody out there could tell me if my car could beat any 99-03 mustang gt's...well i've raced a 2000 gt before and i had him by a whole car length...but i'm not to sure about any other year models...can nebody help me out?

I don't know what your asking with the poll, but a 99+ should have you beat. They have more power, 260 hp vs. your 225 hp. Most people who own Pre 99 stangs will do a 99 head swap, to make up for what is lacking in the hp dept. It's good you have upgraded your exhaust, but do you just have flowmaster tips or the whole exhaust system?

There is no way you can beat a 99+ GT with a 96-98 GT unless you have PI heads or the 99+ driver sucks.

I think a S/C might put the 96-98GT a head also
