I'd suggest the following:
1. Take the seats out of the car for best access. It's usually not too hard to do, and you can clean the carpets while they're out. 2. Using a medium stiffness brush (NOT the stiff nylon kind) and a vacuum cleaner, clean up as much of the dried on stuff as possible. Be sure to get into all of the seams and especially where the seat bottom meets the seat back. 3. Use Lexol Cleaner and a lot of soft 100% cotton terry cloth towels to clean any remaining accumulated dirt. Vacuum again if needed. 4. Use Leatherique Conditioner to renew the leather. Let sit for at least a couple of hours. Full directions are on their site: Leatherique 5. Use Leatherique Cleaner to remove remaining "lifted" dirt. 6. Buff with more clean soft cotton towels. Depending on how long the leather has been neglected, you may want to do another Leatherique treatment. Your seats should be as good as new. - Tom |
