02 Envoy-Best products for leather seats
This is my wifes vehicle and it came with the 2 tone leather seats. Never have had leather seats before. What is the best way to keep the leather looking new? Like I said I never had leather before and don't know which product(product's) to use. Read somewhere where you must be careful and use the right product or you can damage the leather. Is there several steps a person should do to keep the leather looking nice or should I just buy some ArmorAll leather wipes and wipe them down every once in awhile? Thanks for the help!

Re: 02 Envoy-Best products for leather seats
Im not going to get fancy schmancy, but I use Meguiars Rich Leather Wipes. They clean and condition, very easy to use, smell nice, make the seats look brand spankin new, and make the seats feel good.

Re: 02 Envoy-Best products for leather seats
I'll try the Mequiars wipes. Mequiars sell's good stuff. I mentioned the Envoy is my wifes vehicle. I say that because before we bought it she said she wanted to pick out the vehicle this time around. We found a used Envoy so we bought it. At the time I was a rural mail carrier driving a 1993 Ford Explorer. The seats are the best in the business. The Explorer handled great. With the Envoy the seats have very little support and when driving it the vehicle is "very" top heavy to the point where going around corners you must do very slowly. On the other hand the engine is "perfect". When it comes to the seats and handleing how do you rate your 02 Envoy? Thanks for your post.

Re: 02 Envoy-Best products for leather seats
Ive gotta say, a lot of 2002 Envoy/Trailblazer owners #1 complaint is the stiff, uncomfortable leather seats!
In 2005, they were redesigned with more support and cushion. Ive heard its a night and day difference. On the other hand maybe its because Im only 26 years old but I havent had a problem. I've driven the Envoy 14 hours straight at a time (from Detroit to Miami), and didnt have any problems besides my legs falling asleep. I did stop several times for a stretch and bathroom break. And as far as your Envoy being top heavy, that sounds like a sway bar end link issue. A lot of Envoy owners have upgraded their sway bar and end links to the Hotchkis set. Supposed to make it handle a heck of a lot better around curves and corners.
