Best way to match tan leather interior

What paint match tan leather best?
e.g. like this?

What color does the instruction sheet call for?

Guiddy did some red leather in his S2000 (and I'm doing the same now) by mixing equal parts of flat and gloss red Tamiya acrylics, and sending them through an airbrush.

For colours like that you'll want to look at Tamiya's desert camoflauge range.
As Jay said, you'll need to mix a 50/50 gloss/matte mix to get the right texture, and apply through an airbrush. In the pic of the S2000 interior you'll see the difference between the seats and the carpet, which is a full matte.

With no airbrush it gets hard, and you can only use a matte! Don't even think of a gloss, it will look awful!
If you must go matte from a can, spray it, then allow to dry for a few days, then lightly polish it as you would a body, using a cutting compund or toothpaste! (Yes, really!) until you get the desired texture!

i don't have airbrush they too expensive
and anyway I couldn't use it indoor
Is there airbrushes for less than $50?
(without compressor of course - i can use can propellant for 1st time)

BTW, I was at a pawn shop yesterday, and they had two air compressors for $60 each. Still steep, but better than $120+ new.

btw what paint-to thinner ratio do u use for airbrushing?
I don't remember but only once I got satisfactory results
I think it depends from right proportion of mixture

I'm sorry, I lied. The one I posted is like the one I used to have. The one you posted is like the one I have now, but it came bundled with a mini-can of propellant, some pipets, a couple extra jars, and other little bits.

I thin my paint at least 1:1. Often, I use more thinner than paint. That means it's runnier, so you have to do lots of thin coats, but it'll lead to a better finish.

And don't lose the pickup tube for your airbrush! They're hard to replace! :cry:

Once I forgot to attach it and wandered why there is only air coming from the nozzle

If you dont have a airbrush it's your best way to get a good look for the inside of a car.

Sounds like the one I have. Came in a box, with like a 1/2 size can of propellent, and some already thinned paints, the jars and other assorted "stuff"

Ive used at least 15 large cans over the course of the couple years ive had it, I used to use it alot when I first did military models. (I also do many thin coats, and this eats up the propellent faster than just a couple of thick ones.
As long as you clean it up real good, it will last a long time. It was like $50cdn or something?? I cant remember, it was a gift.

Tamiya have a excellent range to pick from.

I found in Testors catalog colors which could exactly match what I need:
FLAT INTERIOR TAN 2738
SAND BEIGE 2710

But I'm not realy sure I can found it in local shops
e.g. Tamiya primer is extremely hard to find. They promised to get it
in stock on the next week so I'm stalled

project progress:
Porsche 959
engine, transmission and front suspension completed
body screwed up. need to be re-coated with primer

Porsche 911GT3
chassic and interior completed
body waits to be painted with Chrome Yellow

Hey what came into my head after screwed 959 body:
1.spray Testors or worse primer from close distance and with
thick layer. Better when can is almost empty
Such coat creates granular texture on the surface
2.coat it with thin layer of flat paint
Success depends from grain size and I suppose it should
look like a carpet. What do you think?
