Mercedes CLK GTR Original Teile Complete ** 3D Pic **

Well.. I have done this kit few days ago, since my order from HLJ and from modelexpress take ages to come to my home, I have made picture of my last project

It's the first time (after the small test I made last time) I post my model in 3D Pictures. First you need to know it's preaty big.. it's 380ko. If You have fast conection, it will show instantly, but if you are in 56k, it could take near 1 minutes.. but I think the wait worth it.

So here is the Link to see my Mercedes CLK GTR Original Teile (which is preaty rare kit since it's out of production for a couple of year.

http://www.magietec.com/~models/3d/clk.html

Comments are more than welcome and tell me what you are thinking of the 3D system.

How long did it take you to put on all those decals? How many decals are there?

Thumbs up

Excellent work on both the car and the 3-d presentation! I love it! I recently bought the CLK Team Sportwear and the decals have me fearful of starting it anytime soon.

Great job!

Awesome car and presentation.
I have that one to build.

I agree with Daggerlee. The color does look lighter.
What blue did you use for the color?

3 day with slow working.. it's fairly easy if you take your time. there is over 100 decals if I remember

You are right.. I wasn't able to find the real paint since it's not a TS paint (it's ms or something like that) anyway it look lighter becose it's metalic, but I think it look better like that. just my opinion

it's MGI Photovista 3D Objects. but this software is very hard to find now and is quite expensive. I just got this software for a client long time ago and wanted to give it a go for me.

Vric, the work that you put in on this kit is commendable.
Having to put in about 100pcs of decals is tough and requires alot of patience.
You not only achieved that results, you showed more patience from your presentation into 3d too.

But this is my take POV:
I still prefer to view different angles of the kit in normal pictures rather than see it in 3d view. Somehow the 3d takes more time to load just to get a zoom/closer look at the kit.
The normal way of presentation is better. Whatsmore, some pics tend to make the kit look more life like. You get to take extreme close-ups, not to mention certain parts of the cars can be highlighted too in different angles.
Well, you get my point.

Overall, still gotta give you top marks for a job well done!
