Re: Mercedes CLK GTR Original Teile

Mike

GREAT MODEL - I have the Tamiya CLk-GTR Original Teile kit too but the decals in the box have yellowed - I am going to leave them out in the sun and hopefully they will fix themselves.

I also have the BBR Original Teile decals too, I wasn't sure if I could use them incase they wouldn't fit the tamiya but looking at your model it seems as though they are pefect! - Was that the case or did you have a lot of work trying to get the BBR decals to fit the Tamiya.

Final Question: Do you have the RAL code for the blue color or did you just stick to suggested Tamiya paint color?

I don`t know, I built the model over ten years ago, there was no problem with the decals

I painted the body with a Ford blue, that was the information from the BBR decal instruction

Thanks mike - I'll track down the paint color by checking Ford color codes.
