Alpine Ground wire?

I just bout a new alpine cda-9811 and on the wire harness it has its own ground would it still work if i used the ground on the wire harness or should i just ground it to the chassis. I don't think it would make a difference but any thoughts.

It will work with your wire harness.

You just need to give it a separate CONSTANT power connection directly from the battery due to the high power output of the HU.
