Just fixed a bunch of problems with my Fiance's Ford Focus (2005). The driver side tail light and running lights kept going out and the trunk release wouldn't work. All of the problems ended up being the wires comming out of the trunk lid next to the hinge. The were broken from repeated bending and were shorting out. cut out the broken bits and reconnecting them now no problems. We no longer have to use a ropeconnected to the back seat to open the trunk and dont have to worry about always having to change the fuses. Found the fix
