96 explorer door question

I recently put my 96 4 door explorer upside down in a ditch, so I need new drivers side doors. my question is will 98 explorer doors work ? I have read that 95 thru 97 are the same but this 98 looks right to me, I was wondering if a certain date was the change over to a new style or whatever and maybe I just need to check the build date on the door. Let me know because I have not found any usable doors locally other than the 98's.
