Transmission Fluid Capacity??...

I have a 1994 Cavalier 2.2 Liter 3 Speed Auto, and I was wondering what the exact transmission fluid capacity for this car is....

I've heard various capacities ranging anywhere from 4 quarts to 7 quarts. I would just like to know the exact amount to add. Thanks again everyone

Re: Transmission Fluid Capacity??...

I'd say start at four and start it up and check. If it's still low add more til it's not. When you do a fluid change the torque converter holds a great deal of fluid still. That is most likely where the difference lies.
