Lesabre closed impeller type water pump source needed...

Hi. I have a 98 Lesabre Custom. I need to replace the stock water pump and would like to find a source to buy a replacement that has the "close impeller" design. Does anyone know where I can find a vendor that sells this or have a recommendation for a high performance water pump. By high performance of course I mean one that pumps more water than the stock.

I have searched on the forums here and on the internet and I have found nothing. Years ago a friend of mine bought one however he does not remember where he got it from.

Thanks,

Sam in Cary ,NC

You can modify a stock pump by installing a disc with a center hole on the front face to prevent cavitation. A TIG welder would be helpful for this.

Would THIS PUMP Work for you?

How about THIS ONE?
