water pump leaking, need help!
i have a integra and the coolant started to leak where the water pump is. so i took it apart and got a new gasket, i bolted the water pump back on and filled it with coolant. it still leaked, so i put the high temp gasket maker over the rubber gasket and filled it back up with coolant, and it still leaks, what can i do to make it stop?

get a new water pump, the bearing is probably bad.

Re: water pump leaking, need help!
just like greenblurr93 said replace the waterpump but in addition make sure when you put the new pump and gasket on that the side of the engine is cleaned off of all the old gasket or rtv that may be on there and that it is dry before putting the new gasket on, also it isn't a bad idea to put some rtv in the groove of the new pump where the rubber gasket sits before putting the gasket on.

Re: water pump leaking, need help!
ya, and if you REALLY dont want it to leak, they sell this sealer that you put on the outside of the pump where the pump meets the block, and it drys hard as a rock.... but u shouldnt need that if you do it right the first time.
