I really would have liked to have met that guy, he seemed like a very good person.
As for the warning, I had no idea. Thanks, now I'm glad my dad always makes sure theres a full box of face masks in the garage.

I always thought that Asbestos had been removed from brake pads, clutch discs, exhaust gaskets etc in the early 90s, and that it wasnt really a problem anymore.
There was legisation introduced into NZ law in the late 90s banning Asbestos from building products and I thought it was extended to cover all uses, including automotive. So I was shocked when I read the packaging on some new brake pads the other day and saw a VERY small note "contians asbestos" hidden in the corner. Ill certianly think twice next time Im doing a set of brakes or a clutch at work, or even taking apart an exhaust.
