Please Help!! Please Read!!! Please Help!!

I have a 93 MX-6 with many miles... Directly after replacing tranny, i smell gas by driver wheel. turned out to be a fuel line which tranny guy corrected. Now after tranny work the car would wont start right away but if i let it sit it will start then shortly after just die while im driving. if i let it sit for a while again it will start right back up & run. it even seems as if i have to warm it up by trying to start it before it start up & drive with no problem.

What could be the issue. PLEASE HELP !
