99 Intrigue trunk latch
The trunk lid won't latch down any more. Close it easy, slam it, doesn't matter. I'm wondering if I buy a latch at the junkyard, will my remote still work? Have no idea where the receiver for the trunk latch is.

If you replace the latch, your remote will still work. The keyless entry signal is recieved by the remote control door lock reciever (rcdlr).
