95 Caprice trunk latch

The remote trunk opener has quit working but still clicks and the license plate light still flashes. The trunk won't open though, except with the key. Did we bump a setting or something? We didn't do anything that would damage it. Thanks for any suggestions.

Electric latch won't work

The solenoid is not very strong on the Chev Caprice. Add a little grease to the latch that is connected to the trunk lid. If that doesn't work you may need to adjust the latch DOWN just a small amount to ease the tension on the latch mechanism. Good Luck Countilaw
