Hey everyone, I got a question for you...I installed a K&N RU2028 Filtercharger. It required the removal of the stock air box. Everything fit correctly and it looks nice, however, it is a lot louder than I expected. I know that there is supposed to be a sound difference, I'm just being as precautious as possible. I'm new to this and I don’t have any friends that take interest in automotive performance. The noise from the intake gets increasingly louder after 2500 rpm and I'm not sure that it’s working properly in conjunction with the rest of my vehicle. Do I need a new MAF sensor to go with the new filter? Replace the rest of the intake (factory plastic)? I am just an idiot that is really scared of screwing up his precious Maxi.
Thanx fpor your help |
