cold air intake created by using an intake pipe and a stock intake tube is this OK
I just made a cold air intake out of a stock intake tube and an intake pipe with a filter that I got for 50 dollars. It was done to a 95 civic dx.
Is there anything wrong with this. I'm 15 and a new tuner i need some tips on how to get started |

There's nothing wrong with it, you'll get .25HP instead of the couple HP's with a real intake. The engine can only suck in as much air as it can push out, this is why an aftermarket exhaust should be used.
Good tips: Don't waste $$$ for a $50 air filter BUY A HONDA REPAIR MANUAL - www.helminc.com Buy & read some Honda/Acura performance books - www.amazon.com |
