Completed: 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC 2002 (56k, this may take a while)
Hello,
I have finished the Subaru that I started 3 weeks ago. A basic OOB build, not much to say as everything went very smoothly. I used various carbon decals and photoetch buckles for the seats. Kit decals are great as well, I wish every Tamiya kit came with Cartograf decals. Anyway, hope you all will enjoy these finished pictures. Thank you to those who helped me on my WIP. If you would like to see interior pictures the WIP thread is here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice build! But the black window frames look a bit too glossy. What does Tamiya specify?

Another fantastic result - and in only three weeks! What's next?

Re: Completed: 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC 2002 (56k, this may take a while)
Bizzychris, you are absolutely correct. I used X-18 which is what the kit specified, but I did not mask off the window frames before applying clear coat, which is why everything is glossy. I may fix it if it bothers me enough.
![]() My goal this year is to build at least 10 models. I have done 4 so far. Maybe I will build another F1... I dunno. Any suggestions? These are the kits I have in my stash. Little pile Big pile |

This build looks great; I love these cars. As for your next build, I'd really like to see that Porsche GT1 come together.
