Engine and engine bay workd done:

I reworked the disc hub, I unliked the PE nut and stuff I PEtched previously, redone "3D" with brass tubes, inner pipe burnished: (that hub only for the side with unmounted wheels)

Shit that's awesome!!!!! I've lost myself in all those details. And my personal favourate were the disks, they look really like made of carbon ceramic!!!

Well, that is actually quite a normal amount of work, detail and attention going in a model. If you're from the planet Zork.

It's (to earth standards) Ballistic! Your engine bay shots bring tears in my eyes :), but i like it!

Good super super super job pal!

It's a week (or two lol) ago that I've found this topic. I couldn't write any comment, yet. Beacuse I just look for the right word. And now I find a little one: beautiful. :smooch:

I have to say thank you for this topic and your awesome job, I learnt a lot of things from this build, and from your "How to PE lesson". Thank You! Again. :)

you guessed right Tang :D silver (but you know there are a couple or more of any position)

the comic is that I received the prize, a dino's kit, and the new CM PE set for the 360 LOL

BTW the contest was awesome with houndreds of awesome build and the partecipation of several well known top-modeler

I finished my 360 in a hurry over a whole night but i have to rework something better and at least I hadn't the chance to show the spare engine: at least all the works I done was covered up LOL

well, it's only my 2nd contest and I'm very happy ;) also cos the gold gone to a couple of friend: Alessandro Prini and my supercool big huge (literaly LOL) friend Marco with and awesome psychedelic 917 with a whole spaceframe showed beside, amazing, he won also the bike's best in class with his vale's M1

since the contest was sponsored also by Modelersite I guess Mario will publish a gallery like he (or Robij?) done last year.

well not actually finished my friend: I need to spend some hour on rear weel arches, I didn't had any chances to mount before the contest, and also maybe I'll re-paint sideskirts: fitting isn't the best, and do the spare engine... well a bit of time more to see teh girl in the finished section ;)

so far some picts of my monza's entry:

Lovely build, its clear that alot of time and effort has paid out !

Im not to keen on the side badges, they look way to big for my taste. I would of also prefered some BBS instead of 5 spoke rays....... but then it kinda grows on you now:P

Well done once again.

I known you would like those jap stuff LOL but we're the minority group LOL

btw those rims, speaking about the way the mold is done, and those potenzas are the best stuff I seen, miising out the design, obviously a moot point: I would purchase houdreds of those rims if only Tamiya would sell as spare LOL
