Thanks guys.
As said I like to do seam on seats, so far this is the way I try: I print some thin (0.5mm wide) seam patterns on a decal's paper and... just some patient and good luck (and a good couple of tweezers).
Well I know seem a crap but it's extremely enlarged, from real it's ok, and it's the first one, at least.
Last treatment with flat clear and polishing for a "leather appeal"

I just print on the back of my monthly bank report ..:)

LOL not, printed on transparent. I'm also persuaded that transparent BMF decal's paper is much much better than white: the difference between 600 and 9600 dpi ;)

Great idea Gio!! :worshippy:

Terrific work as always, Gio.

I love the stitch line decals- haven't ever seen that idea before! Maybe printed in a less stark color, like medium or dark grey they wouldn't stand out quite as much- but it's a really cool look, and idea.

Thanks guys, a little update after ages, I retake in hand my girl ;)

Since I purchased the SAS basic 360 TK (and lately 19" wheels) now I've to do doors panels and consolle: carbon panels refs:

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/R1.jpg

and close up to hinges:

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/R2.jpg

I done the job by styrene layers, cutted and milled down:

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/panel0.jpg

Back side, with strip to achieve the width to install PE hinges

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/panel.jpg

Dry mount (white putty) to check all, you'll see underpanel and PE (self-done) hinge

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/panel1.jpg

The carbon consolle ref.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/Rtunnel.jpg

and my styrene job: not really satisfacted but is really close:less than 20mm wide for white section

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/360cs/consolle.jpg

Thanks guys to follow this, soon with interior's finishing

ciao

This thread is sleeping too much, I have some updates: a little one now, and more to come over next days.
When I started this job I was impressed by a detail in the CS: the muffler: this one is shorter and... it's shiny! It's made of polished steel (or titan?), BTW I desired really to do myself a steel muffler, so I designed it as PE parts and done... (well is not so simple, 2-3 attempts was necessary due that is hard to bend a steel board, also if the thickness is 0.1mm): let me show the real stuff:

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/mufref1.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/mufref2.jpg

First of all I sculpted a wood shape with the exact side section, in the second pict you'll see the base PE parts, with etched ferrari logo and warm warning: it seem brass but is the night room light, the material is stainless steel.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/muffler0.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/muffler0-1.jpg

After a fitting test I decided to lower a bit the shape, so it's not 100% right now, but what interest me is the overall appeal: after a sample seaming with solder the panels, I decide for old tech: would be CA, I start to bend the shape gluing it to the wood.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/muffler5.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/muffler6.jpg

All sides bent and glued: now I need to re-shape sides end (I reccomend Tamiya diamond file #400, it's fantastic also with hard steel) since I lowered the shape, you'll see in the second pict the sides glued, next step was fill with epoxy metal putty little gaps.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/muffler4.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/muffler3.jpg

Last work was to glue 6 thin stripes, ever done by photoetching, but with german silver, since I haven't steel to etch at home, and the little muffler is ready for the V8, thanks a lot for the kind comments, something from the new interiors soon..

Thanks guys! Little update:

360CS has kind carbon intakes, I reshaped kit's stuff with Light Curing Putty, reinforcements by 0.25 styrene.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/intake.jpg

Now I need some semi-gloss black and some carbon decals.

I also detailed engine bay side panels with holes for fixing bolts and the strange kind reinforcement, done by styrene.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/enbaypan2.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/engbaypan.jpg

Also this part will receive his carbon decals and some fantastic "Calibre35" bolts.

Last engine bay's panels: in the real thing this is a triangular sthich shaped surface: impossible to do in the model since the frame don't allow a non-planar surface, the left one is a reservoir's cover.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/engbaypan3.jpg

Ok, I redone interiors: at least old seats give me the chances to try decals seams but I understood that my old seat's finishing was crappy: I redone better on two more resin clones and I finally choose a fantastic (to me) scheme: yellow leather/black textile/carbon with blue body... seem cool to me

first stage of the dashboard, now it will receive details

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/dash.jpg

PE seat's belt surround

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/seatgaskets.jpg

PE pentagram grids with turned alu surrounds (yet painted black)

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/grill-1.jpg

Seats: Vallejo air for yellow and SMS carbon decals back

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/seats.jpg

I already done cooler control but.... sh## I lost those part, so I done a super-quick clone (since I need just 1 piece) with clay as mold, come out no bad... should be great after cleaning and painting ;)

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/quickcasting.jpg

Ciao! Soon with more stuff!

Hi guys: litte update. I guess I'll update it often and (hopefully) finish until June, just'n time for Monza's modelling contest. So I decided to detail engine a bit more, and to do a second engine to show off the pony's belly, in standard (no CS) configuration, just to see back details and difference between models.
I also started to use my new PE set, some interior's goodies and engine details.
Job started from interiors: I done rubber mats (CS haven't carpet coverings to save weight) by PE, now I have to paint.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/tapp1.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/tapp2.jpg

Than I reworked the steering wheel: I guess picts would be better than (gio's itanglish) words :D ;)

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/steeringW.jpg

also let me introduce my mate mr. crocgio: I etched also those by stainless steel an he cut and eat everithing in my desk: it was precious cutting the steering wheel ;)

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/croc.jpg

So I used my PE part for timing stuff's cover, in fact Tamy piece is molded with belts, pulleyes and stuff.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/beltcover1.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/beltcover2.jpg

Obviously all the stuff above need to be painted, very soon ;)
Time to detail airbox ducts and to add a couple of kind shaped roundels, I also scratcbuilt air mass sensors, later after painting I'll detail with wiring and connectors.

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/airB1.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/airB2.jpg

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/airB3.jpg

Last one: I think you'll guess why I done all those holes in the gear cover;) BTW drill 0.7 mm holes on 1 mm diam pin isn't fun!

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c159/gionc/gearcover.jpg

Thanks a lot everybody to read, soon an update with parts finishing and engine accessories like alternator and pumps ;) stay tuned!
