a good cheap setup?

hey I'm new to the whole audio thing and am just looking for some guidance on what a good and cheap setup would be for a couple subs.

What I've read and learner is I'll need the subs and an amp and a capacitor (I think). I don't have much money for it but I don't want to get some cheap ass $30 subs. Here's some questions I have:

What does a capacitor do?

How do you match up the wattage between the subs/amps?

what is a good brand/setup I could afford and still enjoy?

is Poineer a good company?

okay I know someone that's selling a set of Blaupunkt 10's online. Are theese any good? Here's a link of what they look like and all the specs: http://www.dynadirect.com/ca-pcwi1000.html

I also know someone who's selling 2 10" new volfenhaag subwoofers, a 300 watt kenwood amp, and a 10" element enclosure. How good is that setup? How much do you think I should offer?

SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND ASAP IT'S URGENT!!!

save your money and get some decent stuff. You are to keep buying all this cheap stuff and replacing... if you get some "good" stuff then u won't have to keep buying over and over again. DO your HW and buy from eBAY... the inifity bass link i heard is pretty good...

what are you looking for in the subs? do you want precise bass or booming? i have a pair of 12" volfs in a rectangular ported box, sounds good. im sure you can find alot higher sq in other subs, but for the price these are great. and if you want to push subs other than some shitty radioshack crap, youre gonna need alot more than that kenwood amp. thats probably a 300w max, or closer to 100-150wrms. for both the subs and a 800wrms lanzar d-class amp i paid under $300. all on ebay.

if you want just the ghetto blaster boom, get some pos subs in a bandpass box. with that setup, brand and sq dont matter. my first system was a pair of 10" jensens in a bandpass with a matching amp, and i thought it was great boy do i know better now.

Well I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the Blaupunkt 10s cause they've only been used a couple of times and he'll give them to me for $75 shipped. Does that sound like a good deal. Then after that I'll need a nice amp. Anyone hace one for sale?
