Depending on how much lag you want to put up with there are many options. HKS and GReddy (Trust) make really good turbos as well as Turbonetics. I like the HKS GT2835R (about 400hp) for an overall combination of good power and mininum lag. But if your looking for a big monster turbo the GReddy T88 makes huge power with of course huge lag though.

um, the t88 is pretty much a race only turbo, lag until almost 5k rpm...

won't make much power unless your motor is built... very built...

that's why there's oh, 5 cars with them...

it's a novelty, and most JDM tuners that i've seen that run them don't run them on "street" setups, they swap to them...

why not max out the factory turbo first, then do a simple upgrade..

don't look for something wild if your motor isn't built to match it...

Not RB30 head, but bottom end for 3.0 capacity. with non-turbo RB25 twin cam head for breathing.
RB30E was single cam motor produced between 86 and 91 for R31 series skylines and (australian) GM Holden Commodores, sold in Aust and
New Zealand, also came in 2.0 and sold in skyline R31, R32& R33, laurel gloria and Cefiro and a few others including the Commodore.

single cam and 12 valve with Multi point injection making 158hp at 5600rpm, with good torque from low down, slightly oversquare at 86x85mm.vs RB25 at 86x71.7(GTR 86x73.7) 9.0:1 comp
Turbo Version (RB30ET) made 205hp with no intercooler and designed for 91RON fuel ( 87 US equiv) limited to 6200rpm.7.8:1 comp

As this motor is the father of the RB25 it bolts straight on with the better breathing cylinder head and when matched to a suitable compressor .82 A/R T3 style exhaust housing, computer, exhaust and intake mods, these can make around 400hp at 1.0-1.5 bar(15-23psi)
with the potential for 600-800hp when built, not really designed for much over 7000rpm but can be taken to 8.( harmonics at 74-7600)

When combined with the RB26 head, the results are even better.
