Tamiya racing mini cooper (pics !)

Here it is. once again built right out of box. the only "mod" is that I filled some holes that were meant to hold bumpers on the street version of this car.

Sorry, the pictures are a bit grainy and dark.

Another great job....looks great...is the instruments a decal??? if not great detail...and ya just gotta love those minis

They are chromed parts with a clear lens. It's a decal that I've put over them. I assume that in those days they taped headlights like that to prevent spreading of glass on the track when a collision occured (pure speculation).

That's why they taped them...and still do today.
