more dual point to multi point bulsh*t...

Im putting a ZC in my 91 DX hatch and was reading the how-to for changing to MPFI on 4thgenerationcivic.com. I was just wondering, will I need anything off an Si harness or can I just modify my DX harness by adding some wires into a MPFI harness? Is there anything else I need other than some extra wires??

You modify the DX harness with the ZC one. I never did it but its one of those things that I think sounds more difficult to do than it really is.

My ZC harness is all hacked up though. I have the injectors and the fuel rail and then like a foot or 2 of wiring then it was cut. What do I need from the ZC one? Thanks for the help.

well the pics from that article would help out a lot. They also state in the pics that its a lot easier to just modify your DX harness than your Si, or whatever other harness it is. I wish I could offer more help, but I have not done this yet, just read the article several times to try and figure it out for later use.

well i dont know what kind of plug the zc dist. uses. but when i did that mpfi swap for my b18a, i had to

1. lengthen the tps wires
2. lengthen the wires on the back of the block, has like a rubber cover over it
3. idk where the o2 sensor is so idk if u have to lengthen the wire
4. for my b18a i had to switch to the si harness dist plug cause the dx one didnt match up, but idk how the zc dist plug looks
5. gotta add the wires for the cylinder and something else, i forget what, but its at the end of teh zc cam, 2 wires, run those to the ecu
6. run 4 wires to each injector to the resistor box
7. run 2 wires from each dx injector wire to the right injectors
8. run 2 wires from the other injectors to the ecu

umm u should get a si, i think, throttle cable because the dx is really long.

i think thats it
