ok my gasket scraper im using will take me 100 years to get the gaskets off my intake manifold, does anyone have a better method than this?

plus anyone know if its possible to remove the valve springs without using a valve spring compressor?

thats pretty dangerous man, i would reccomend not doing it! if a springs under load and u loosen it to come off, bye bye eyes, that thing will most likely shoot off and hit u in the face
just goto an auto place that has a rent a tool thing and do the job right!
