neons race civic for the same reason you race anyone......racing it is fun and you "think" or have a chance of beating someone.....you may be fast....but there's always someone that's faster....be it a neon or a yugo.....bragging's good until the underdog spanks u
just my opnion.....i'm an equal opportunity racer

Neon's can go pretty fast, if you work them right it's like any other car. You don't always need more power if you know how to drive. Especially if it's a technical course. Sometimes handling is the key....

You got 460 what on the Dyno? Horsepower? Original Engine with a few mods and full boost with a 50shot of Nitrous, on a stock motor? I doubt it'll last long. Can we see copy of your dyno run? I doubt anybody will trust you got 460 ... whatevers out of your motor with just a few 'mods', a turbo, and a 50 shot. Oh yes, on a original engine. Why dont you go race the guy on AF with the 2.4l Stratus Motor Swap and Turbo in his Neon. Its decently quick. And what about a sport compact car on the full page add for Polk Momo... Since some of us aren't sure what you're speaking of... why dont you fill us in? Oh, Im glad your buddies dont play... most other people dont either.

And yes, the member DOHcNeon will most definitely give you a big run for the money...He has a dyno-proven 400hp Neon.

much agreed.
:right: 460 hp on a stock motor. if you want to come to cleveland, i know of an 11 second neon here, if you want to run your mouth, we'll listen... i'm still waiting on your dyno chart... and to be official, maybe a copy of your driver's license, and your registration to prove you own this mythical car... hmm... i won't hold my breath...

i've seen almost 300hp on a stock motor for an si, though, so keep that in mind.
i doubt this kid's runnin 460hp... especially at the wheels... w/o internal mods. sorry. you lose.

Yeah, he's full of it. But you know, I'm pulling 900 rwhp on my stock internal engine, so he's probably telling the truth.

Whats more impressive than his "orig engine" with 460 horsies is me with 150 horsies........
That's right, I went down to the local speedshop the other day, and ran on their dyno... I layed down 150 horsies and 129 lb/ft of honda-like torque without even warming up! The folks at the speedshop says that I can probaly put down another 10 hp or so if I stretched out and warmed up better.. And maybe 15 horsies if I eat a power bar and drink some water! I'm a bit lazy now.. but I'll post my dyno chart soon.................

How many lbs. of boost are you running, 45? Your turbo must be bigger than your 1.6
