The best way would be to read the FAQ. Painting and polishing tutorial. You have been here long enough to know it.

Well, also depends on what kind of paint and primer you used? If you use model master then yes you get alot of orange peel and its hard to get rid of it, if u used tamiya primer and paint, then you sould get 5% of orange peel, which is very fine\small.
I tried it myself yesterday, tamiya is fucking amazing, the best finish ever.

oh ic, its testors then. My expirience with them is very bad, i wouldnt recomend it to anyone, spend couple more dollars and buy a quility paint, like tamiya. Testors got a very bad nozzle, it bleeds and causes boubles most of the time, plus its finish is not as good as tamiyas. If i was you, i would put it in a brake fluid, waint untill all the paint can get off, buy tamiya primer, and tamiya paint, and go thru p-mans method step by step, thats the way i got my finish just the way i want it.

If its very bad then sand it back with the 1200 then give it another wet coat of paint.

well i did a light wet sand with the 1200 grade sand paper and it came out smooth and nice i am happy with the results and also some of the purple paint got lighter and the blue kinds of shows through so it has this blueish look 2 the dark purple. but then i kinda messed it up by waxing it some of the paint came off from the groovs of the door not alot tho but i can fix it i have a marker with a dark blue it wont show when i fix it up, hope to have pics of my projects soon, im gona see if i can borrow a digi cam from sum1

thanks
