cams for b16a1
Im picking up a b16a1 from LA and thinking of replacing cam shafts and cam gears. I was thinking of skunk2 are there any better brands out there. do i need to replace anything else if i do replace cam shaft and cam gears? What other mods can i do to gain hp and torque? Anyone know where i can get good deals on these parts?

if you're looking to save money.....Skunk2 stage I cams can be used safely on the stock valvetrain. They suggest upgrading your valve springs, but it is not necessary. Civic Type R cams are very nice, affordable, can be used with the stock valvetrain, but are not as aggressive as the Sk2s.

Yeh i agree with Sean. GO with skunk2 or ctr. If you want more power go with skunk2 stage 2 cams but then u gonna have to upgrade ur whole valvetrain which cost around 1500-2000 depending where u get it from.
