Anyone have Howto for b16a1/2 rebuild and swap

I am currently in the market for a new engine for my 91 HB STD/DX Hybrid and have found that there is a huge wealth of information floating around out there, but everything seems to have a little bit differing information. I am looking for some good links and sites that will overview the following:

Which engine do I want (B16A1, B16A2, etc.) and how to figure out which generation engine is which. I would like to keep costs low, so even if I put in something cheap like a first gen, it would be a major improvement on my <75hp engine I have now.

Which items do I need to acquire with the engine (ECU, Trans, Mounts, Wiring, Clutch, Knuckles, etc.)

What process should I use for the engine swap (replace all hoses, etc.) and what mods that are fairly cheap should be done BEFORE the engine goes in the car. I hate pulling the engine back out just to do some mod that was only 300 bucks or something like that.

Anyones suggestions are more then welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Well first i'd say go b16a first gen. Its already non obd so its gonna be easier to swap. Since u have a std. U need to convert dpfi to mpfi. Yeh u need hubs from either an si or dx MANUAL CAR. U do need mounts. I would recommend either hcp or hasport. Same goes with the shift linkage. U need axles from a 90-93 integra using the same year intermediate shaft. U can find out more at www.hasport.com. I would change the clutch, timing belt and water pump since its out already.

I personaly picked the B16a1 swap,

with the swap I got
S1 transmission (Type-r gearing)
Engine (duh)
Civic SiR Shifter linkage (no cutting or welding and cheaper than hasport)
Civic SiR axels (I know they fit )
PR3 ECU (more agressive fuel maps than PW0)
harness (OE Honda Plugs...)

I had to buy
- 90 teg half shaft
- stage 2 Centerforce Clutch kit (not absolutley needed)
- Hasport Knock off mounts
- new Hoses (silicon and 90 teg upper and lower rad hose)
- T-Belt
- water Pump
- Distributor cap
- Plugs
- Plug wires
- rotor button
- TPS sensor
- crank seals
- oil
- coolant
- beer
