i know you all hate this question but..

i hate these type of questions and never thought id ever be the one asking it. as we get alot over at the supra forums. but my friend is buying our 94 celica GT 5spd. he asks me all these questions. now i know basically what each mod would bring on a 3 liter supra motor but have no clue and basically having to guestimate on this 2.2 5s-fe.

he wants to put on a header, test pipe, a catback. cams, port and polish , along with a lightened flywheel, ignition system, and larger TB cold air intake. well i told him between 200-240hp at the crank. i honestly dont know how this engine would react to each mods and well figured you guys would. so if you could tell me if this is close or hell even a better estimate of power would help out. i want him to import a AWD turbo engine and drivetrain front clip and start out with 260hp but he said he cant afford it. well thanks.

200 - 240 wouldn't be too likely on the 5S-FE. It's a great economy engine, that's about it. He could turbocharge the existing engine and run low boost, or swap in a 3S-GTE. The engine swap would give him the best performance hands down.
