please help me out with how to lauch a fwd turbo car without burning the cluth???

how to launch....my advice is to rev it up to 2500 rpm, and when the light turns green, pop the clutch and let it go.

don't floor it off the start though, let the tires squack and then floor it and do your thing, otherwise your tires will turn and ruin the clutch.

doing it this way allows for the best possible launch and is easiest on your machine.

1. Rebuilt, finely tuned engine.
2. Custom exhaust, similar to flowmaster
3. Matching intercooler
4. Re-calibrated s/c and transmission to match the above mods
5. Port polish and custom headers
6. Itchy right foot

Dynojet: 298hp, 306 ft/lbs torque (at tires)
0-60: 5.479 seconds
1/4 Mile: est 13.4 seconds (hoping!)

Hey TMUMMY! It really does depend on what type of car you've got. Subaru XT is different than Subaru WRX, and Honda, etc... Please tell us what type of car it is and maybe I can help out a little.

Launching any car is hard on the clutch, transmission, engine, differential/transaxle, tires, CV joints, etc...

So basically what it boils down to is: if you don't want the wear, then don't launch.
