|
AF problems
I have heard from many people that they cannot get on AF? Whats wrong? But for some reason i can get on!

I couldn't get on for several days from my PC here at home. Today was the first day since probably Sunday that I could access the page from my PC. If I clicked on the link in my favorites, a DNS error came up. If I typed in the address a web page came up saying something like, we could not find requested site automotive forums, and then provided links to similarly named sites and a search option. I could always access the forums from computers on my school campus however.

I think the Registar where AF is registred have made a change in DNS, so it take some time to get all the DNS server up to date around the world... it happen often in the world of Internet

Not to mention that the "official" A/F clock is off by over 3 1/2 hours

yea, it hasent let me on all night untill about half an hour ago....
it seems to happen everynight now though

I hear of DNS errors from higher up. Tell anyone you're in contact with to hang tight and keep checking. Some of the more 'remote' DNS can take up to 72 hours to be updated. (NZ, for example.)
