In what? We had a video on here of a brand new SRT-4 beating a WRX on the highway.

thats what i told him, the srt4 is quicker from a roll, but he acts like it's his personal mission to put down neons. he says they will run a 14.8-14.9

hey guys, the SRT4 has a boost controller, it was not a fair race. for all you people know about turbo cars should know how much different 1-2 lb boost will do for you!!!
WRX people, don't be ashamed to lose to a SRT4, it has a 16G turbo, 2.4 displacement and FMIC, now, put all thos into a WRX, and we will be running 12's all day long...

The DSM had the boost controller. The SRT-4 was stock. There is a lot more to change than a turbo to get the WRX moving faster, you have to change that short gearing. Also, might I remind you that the SRT-4 is about 5,000 - 6,000 less than a WRX. With that money, the guy with the SRT-4 can always be one step ahead with the same amount of cash.

hm
SRT MSRP is at 20,000
WRX MSRP is at 24,000
4k for AWD is much worth it.
and the guy from SRT4 said that he has a homemade BC at neons.org.
I am not bashing SRT4, heck I posted the thread. Personaly opinion, I will not buy a turbo FWD car.
btw, I am in high 11's now with stock gear. with simple stage 4 set up and NOS ( I know it is nitrous oxide, but I have NOS )

back to the topic, it's prolly the guy from the sube forum that started the one thread, and replied to the other 2 about beating wrx's.

you and i both replied and told him he's stupid.

the srt4 in the video has temp tags on it...

doubt it's got a boost controller..

and i don't think the wrx in the video was stock either. it still got beat.

i understand what everyone's saying, but i'll take a sleeper with tons of hp any day... i don't care if it's ugly.

Honestly I would care if I had a fast ugly car. As the saying goes, anything can be made fast, so really whats left for you to choose is how the car looks. Something about a boxy looking piece of trash from the 70's with a built 350 V8 doing 11's, and 3 or 4 different colors from primer or replaced body parts, is not very appealing to me. More like, so what it's been done.

I don't know why I decided to post it here, but I saw a new Lancer Evolution in Daytona this past weekend. They are pretty badass! It was in a parking garage, so I didn't get to look under the hood or inside really.
