What is it about an SRT-4 that makes it so special?

So ive been feeling kinda bumbed....mostly pissed, about the whole situation with me and everything happening.
I decided to call up some old friends and go chill with them, catch a movie and some dinner.
Im comming home early cause of work tomorrow when a black SRT-4 blows past me. now i had seen this guy in my rear view zipping in and out of lanes but lost him. I end up catching a light and when it goes green I see him comming up behind me. I take off and he blows past me with the momentum he already had since he had been half a block back when it went green he never had to brake.
He blows by and at the next light hes laughing his ass of with his friend sitting shot gun saying how I spent 34K on this "boat" and he blew my doors off. Im not in the fucking mood so I open my door and step out and tell him to get out or i'll kick a hole into the side of his car.
hes telling me to chill out and take the loss.
I tell him that wassnt a race but a flyby and if he tries to run I'll run my car into him and I dont care cause I have to turn it in tuesday afternoon. if I total it now I'll still get some money for it,not as much but I still win.
I tell him I want a rematch and if he wins I hand him 200 bucks (at which point I pull out the 2 c-notes I just borrowed from my friend and show it to him) if I win he dossent have to give me shit and I go away.

we agree and lined it up. I smoked this kid in every gear! take off I dont punch I just slip it out and focus on good traction and easy launch and I get a nose. second he pulls a wee bit but in third I pull alomst two cars and by the time I hit 4th I had 3 cars on him.

I wonder how the fuck its possible that Drifty ever beat a GTO, this car even with a shitty driver will rape a stock Skittle.

I wish he would have tried to run though, theres no fucking way he would of gotten away and I know how easy those riced out neons crumble, that mexican sheet mettal is so fucking weak I would have killed them both and skull fucked thier corpses.

I'm sad to see it go, but I'm glad that you've used it to its potential, good luck to you Musashi

Damn. So if you don't mind me asking, in all honesty, do you know what is in store for your next car? I heard you mention 3000gt before but wasn't sure if you were serious or not. Either way, good luck no matter what you do.

Can't blame the car for the fuck stick behind the wheel. Although I did meet a few fellow SRT-4 owners back when I had one that should have been sterilized for the good of all humanity. Why are you getting rid of the GTO if you don't mind me asking? Also please don't get out of your car. You never know what the other guy's holding underneath his seat. I speak from experience. Any idiot can pull the trigger of a handgun.

Hed be doing me a favor honestly.

as for the car, I have alot of financial problems at the moment. The company I was working with went under and It took me too long to find employment again so i fell way behind in the mean time. My wife's car ended up snapping a timming belt and I dont have the money to pay for the repairs also and I need to get her that damn car back asap before they start charging me storage so I cut a deal with carmax and Im gonna get back like 9 grand on it.
Sucks but what can ya do? and yes I was serious about the 3KGT.

yeah man sorry to hear about you losing the goat.....I know you were partial to that particular farm animal lol......but hey shit happens for a reason and the reason might lead to something better you never know......but as far as the srt owner thing goes.....I understand you 100% and I own one......some times I dont even feel like I own a skittle due to the fact that every time I talk to another skittle owner its just rediculous.....not all but about 70% of them I meet are like that......

Re: What is it about an SRT-4 that makes it so special?

so far, I've only met one cool SRT-4 owner. mellowest srt owner i've ever met, you know some of them i meet respect me despite me having a non-turboed neon. But the anuses can be found though, I've yet to run into one. I've even seen a chick drive one, I fell in love with her, i've never met her, I wish she didn't see my car in it's pathetic state, but hell, that's gonna change.

Re: What is it about an SRT-4 that makes it so special?

man youve fallen hard there bud. Nice kill but your way over the top right now, you really shouldnt be behind the wheel of a car. No doubt that the SRT owner was total douche bag, still doesnt warrant you to get out of the car threating to beat his ass or kick in a hole in the side of the car cause he was talking trash.

You really can't be doing that, but I do agree that the SRT4 is a douchebag favorite. I wish it didn't sell so well and maybe only some enthusiasts would have it, rather than every shithead kid that thinks he is a race car driver.

Re: What is it about an SRT-4 that makes it so special?

Sad to see the goat go...but I've met lots of SRT4 owners. About 7 to be exact haha out of that, 4 of them we're normal(no shit talking about other cars and saying there car is alright at racing) The other 3 just kept saying there car is the best in the street and no one can match them.

Are we gonna see a Verfer near the future

Re: What is it about an SRT-4 that makes it so special?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble man.

I'd be in the same boat if something happened with my job. A near $600 a month truck payment and a $300 a month race car payment, lol.

Just try and keep your cool though when stuff like that happens becuase if the other guy was to call ya on it, then you could end up in trouble and that'd just make things worse for ya.

I hope it all works out for ya though buddy. Just remember that it will have to get better, lol.
