Finished: 99 Team Impreza WRC
Hi Guys,
Here are a few shots of Richard Burns' Impreza from the 1999 Tour de Corse. The model was actually built by my girlfriend - it was her second ever 1/24th model, so I reckon it is a fair effort. Some details are not right, eg the light pods, but hey, I couldn't convince her..... Hope you like.      |

Why cant I find women that are into model making
  She has done a fine job, that's 10 times better than my second model was.

Mighty fine build there Potsie's girlfriend! You must like Subarus, after the 1/43rd Potsie showed us a while ago.
At the recent Mebourne Expo there ware quite a lot of young girls winning awards for their models. Hopefully they will not lose the interest as they grow up. |

wah, luv the interior, her efforts arent wasted for sure.
Damn good job! I think I go take down my Subaru pics, pale in comparison to yours hehe But I do notice some differences. Guess it must be mine is WRC2001 Rally of Great Britain. Looking forward to seeing more of your gf's and your projects.

Second 1/24 model?
If she continues to develop her skills she'll probably wipe out all the competition at AF2003 modeling contest One small thing I noticed though: I think it would look better if she'd paint the 'hole' at the tip of the exhaust pipe black (now it looks like it's solid) or drill it open. -Mikko |
