Re: Toyota Supra

Very nice paint and carbon work. I personally find the exhaust too big, but I love how realistic the real metal looks. Looks like Tamiya includes a nice engine too!

Re: Toyota Supra

Looks cool, maybe some more wiring around the engine?

I agree with Micha. Nice build, but you should have painted the outside edge of the head and taillamps black for a more realistic look. Paint is top notch, the stance is great and the interior plus radio look awesome. Hood fit is not that great, but that's probably just the pictures....

Re: Toyota Supra

Nice result for sure, but 23" rims? Wow! No wonder they fill the rims so nicely.

Re: Toyota Supra

I have an important question.

-How did you do the carbon fiber on the air box?

-I'm working on a supra and having trouble on the air box.

1: Cut out a template (I used a sqaure template) out of carbon decal
2: While decal is in water, add some Microsol SOL on the airbox. (this liquid stuff is to soften your decals)
3: Lay down the decal on the airbox, and dip in into the right place with a brush
4: More Microsol SOL on the decal
5: Use a hairdryer to smooth the decal into corners and difficult surfaces
6: Clearcoat the carbon decal

This is how I add carbon decals and other decals.

Kris.

Hood fits good, but after the pictures I saw the hood lays on 1 of the windscreenwipers It's well done now

I did no extra wiring to the engine just because I didn't knew where every wire or tube is going to. After searching google for some engines I only got big tuned engines and no good stock engines.

I thinking about buying another Supra because I really loved this kit and the real car. Maybe I will do some more detail on the engine to that kit.

Kris.
