poll is too broad. a GST and GSX will ripe a 240 a new asshole. BUT the GST and GSX are built like crap. they fall apart like cheap chinese stuff *i'm chinese by the way so i can get away with sayin that*

if you get the 240 and do the sr20det swap like everyone else does, it'll easily take the eclipse. like Tat said, the eclipse falls short in the build quality department compared to the 240. but they're quick right out the box and the 240 can't touch it. personally, i'd get the 240 and if you can't stand the slowness of it like me, swap a sr20det sylvia engine in it.

240SX is slow out of the box but superiorly handling car...course in the rain the GSX has it beat and it's easy to make them go fast in a straight line for lil money...got 2 friends w/11 second GSX's...
But the 240SX motor (the KA24DE 91-98) is a great motor and can hold boost quite well...I suggest you get a 240SX and turbo it...got two friends w/custom turbo kits both of them spent about 1600 bux and they have themselves a nice stage one car...around 230rwhp at only 6 psi of boost...then you go from there

as we all said before, it doesn't matter if its the first 2 gens. they all eitehr come base modeled, standard non turbo, and turbo or turbo all wheel drive. the 240 should be able to beat the non turbos. however if you race the GS-T and GS-X's your goin to get served

The KA can hold up around 350hp on stock internals and the 4G63 can hold close to 400hp on stock internals w/proper tuning...so they are close...the SR can hold around 350-400hp too (just in case you were wondering)
Only one worth while having if you want to street race is the GSX and a 1st Gen one...the 2nd gen's are too heavy and have problems w/crankwalk Reason being...1st gen GSX is cheap to buy and cheap to mod and will go fast real quick w/lil invested
