cat removal

is there any gain of hp from cat removal on a 91 NT 300ZX and who would sell this type of off road pipe??

I don't have any cats. You will be able to feel the gain. I don't know what emmissions are like where you live, you may want to look into it more. Oh yeah, It makes your car louder than all hell! One day I will find a way to stick a sound clip of my ride up here.

Man, you guys are starting to sound like ricers. Removing a properly operating converter is going to do allmost nothing for HP, your feeling the placebo effect. Unless your ass is sensitive enough to feel 1/2 to 3 HP.

What does it matter?! Florida no longer has smog restrictions, so might as well.

isnt there sensors in the cats? and if so if you cut them off does the check engine light come one? just wondering cause i've been wanting to cut my cats of for a while but never got around to it

Na' every thing is straight! The sensors are right below the exhaust manifold. You can see the if you look down that little space.

aight coo, i got my cats cut off this weekend and it sounds and performs a little better, i looked at them after the guy cut them off and they were totally clogged, he said its the worse ones he's ever seen, so aparently it was robbing me of some low end power and some gas miles, but sounds and runs good now:flash:
