how much horse power can the new 03 cobra handle?
how much horse power can the new 03 cobra handle? Are there any super chargers out for it and if so what kind of horse power can they produce? and does any one have a picture of a modified cobra engine?

i own a 03 Cobra and only have mad a few mods but can tell you what i have gained...2.5 inch pully and 3 inch exhaust..and headers, last dyno run had 490 hp at the rear wheels:smoker2:

I've heard of a guy dynoing 650-hp on stock internals. I've never seen the thing however, only heard about it. Could be a fluke.

kenne bell s/c thread. the stock motor and exh can handle 600hp with the s/c pushing 20 psi. the factory charger can make about 500 hp. imagine if you mod the motor and everything else to match the breathing of the s/c. hmm... |

the block itself is good up to about 750hp---the internals----seem to be pretty good forged quality----but some aftermarket forged companies----claim that pushing the engine to 700hp---jeopardizes the internals. I guess since no real research has been done---the 03 cobra owners have an obligation to keep adding boost. WE NEED TEST MULES FELLAS! :flamer:

first death of the supercharged motor. I was racing a buddy of mine and the accelerator stuck when i hammered it, shifted to nuetral, but could not shut down ignition in time, engine blew...fuck, now its sitting all torn down waiting for a motor...but hey ford says they dont have a problem with the pedal sticking, time will tell i guess..lol
