b18c vtec

i bought a b18c gsr head w/the vtec solenoid broken. waht i need to know is, will ANY vtec solenoid work & would it change any performance if it's off of a different car? i found a SOHC vtec eg at the junkyard today, and it's in perfect condition.

Well not sure about sohc but all the other b-series should work. Try using the sohc one to see if it fits. IF it doesn't return it.
