code 4 plroblems??????? help

im getting a code 4 on my b16 wich is the crank angle sensor dose anyone have any idea how to fix this. ive got a brand new distributor in it .i installed cam gears could that have anything to do with it. im almot positive its in time. any help would be great

yup......its the c.a.s.............the only thing I could think it would be seeing how you replaced the distributor would be the ecu...or wiring......is your hatch a dx converted or was it an si to begin with?? and no the cam gearswouldn't have anything todo with it..........

My car had that same problem. It wouldn't let me rev past 4000rpm. I just replaced my dist. and it fixed it.

its a dx and its already got a brand new distributer

The sensor is in the dist. you need to replace the dist. If you did not get it from the dealer, than it is a reconditioned part, and could be bad out of the box. Just cause it is "new" does NOT mean it can't be bad.
