engine idle jumping, no codes..Need Help

Well since you guys got me straightened out on my engine ground problem, I now have new issues.

The new engine jumps idle from 900-1600RPM in one second intervals.
No codes on the computer, and it will drive fine. but the idle is jumping badly all the time. I have a spare idle control solonoid, and swapped it on, but still jumps.

Also, I have massive Crankcase Vacuum. When you pull the oil fill cap off, the vacuum releases and you can put you hand on the hole and it will suck your hand down. I have good compression on the cylnders, but don't know where this vacuum is from.

Any suggestions would be helpfull

Thanks
Brian

Totally.. I've had this problem twice in my past cars, and that information posted in that thread works. Thats why I posted it here.

I printed that link's info, and started working on it. I have had no luck as that the throttle body he describs is different on my HF and does not have the FITV that is described in the article.
I have put on a new IAC and still have surging bad!

Any suggestions within reason will be tried.

I have noticed that if I pull the vacuum line off the top of the throttlebody, the idle stabelizes, but the engine misses bad during acceleration.

HELP??

Brian

Try a different ECU in your car.
Check for vaccum leaks around the IM.
Make sure there isn't bubbles in your coolant.
Reset your ECU.
And, ovbiously your IACV.
